🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Essential Educational Qualifications
Candidates must hold a graduate degree in one of the following disciplines along with a full-time postgraduate qualification:
Graduate:
MBBS
BDS
Nursing
BHMS
BAMS
Postgraduate:
Master’s / PG in Public Health / Community Health / Hospital Administration / Health Administration
Essential Experience
At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in NQAS implementation, public health quality programs, or health systems strengthening at the national or state level.
Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office, Excel-based analysis, etc.) is mandatory.
Desirable Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
Certification in Quality Management or Patient Safety from a reputed institute.
Published papers in reputed journals (national or international) related to Health Systems, Quality of Care, or Infection Control.
Exposure to digital health initiatives or quality monitoring tools.
Age Limit

🩺 Roles and Responsibilities
The Senior Consultant – Certification Unit will report directly to the Advisor, Quality & Patient Safety (QPS Division) and will play a leadership role in managing national quality certification activities.
Key Responsibilities
Assessment Management: Oversee the end-to-end process of national-level assessments — from application receipt to certification result declaration.
Quality Compliance: Ensure timely completion and monitoring of all certification activities across assigned states.
Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, policy briefs, and recommendations for the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW).
Data Analysis: Manage certification data, generate analytical dashboards, and contribute to national reviews on Quality of Care.
Capacity Building: Coordinate National External Assessor Training programs and mentor state-level quality teams.
Ministry Coordination: Support timely and accurate responses to MoHFW and Parliament Questions related to Quality & Patient Safety.
Research Support: Contribute to research publications, quality improvement frameworks, and evaluation studies.
