🎓 Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria
✔ Required Qualification
Candidates must possess:
MDS / Diploma / Degree in the concerned specialty
Degree must be obtained between 11/12/2020 and 10/12/2025 (within 5 years)
Valid State Dental Council Registration (with MDS)
✔ Senior Residency Duration Rule
Maximum tenure = 3 years (including senior residency done elsewhere)
Candidates who have already completed 3 years of senior residency are NOT eligible

Specialty Eligibility
Dental Anatomy Candidates with MDS in Oral Pathology
Dental Material MDS (Prosthodontics) or M.Sc./Degree in Dental Materials after BDS
Forensic Odontology Master’s in Forensic Odontology after BDS OR Fellowship in Forensic Odontology (≥1 year) after MDS (any specialty)

📝 Recruitment Process: Written Test + Interview
MAIDS follows a two-stage selection process:
1️⃣ Computer-Based Screening Test (Written Test)
Mode: Computer-Based (online)
Duration: 100 minutes
Total Questions: 100 MCQs
25 questions → Basic Sciences
75 questions → Dental Specialty
Negative Marking: Yes
Qualifying Marks:
UR / EWS → 50%
OBC → 45%
SC / ST / PwD → 40%
Shortlisting for Interview:
Only 3 times the number of vacancies will be called.
2️⃣ Interview
Candidates must qualify the written test to be eligible.
Final merit = Written Test Marks + Interview Marks
