Indira Gandhi Hospital, under the Government of NCT of Delhi, invites eligible BDS graduates for walk-in interviews for the post of Junior Resident (Dental) on an adhoc basis. This is a government job opportunity ideal for recent graduates who have not served as Junior Residents in any government institution.
There are two vacancies for the post:
UR (Unreserved): 01
OBC (Delhi Only): 01
The engagement will be purely temporary for an initial period of 89 days, extendable up to one year based on performance and availability of positions.
Eligibility Criteria:
Education: BDS from a recognized university/institution.
Internship: Must have completed a one-year rotatory internship on or after 05.06.2023.
Registration: Valid registration with DDC/State Dental Council as on the interview date.
(‘Applied for’ status will not be accepted.)
Experience: Must not have completed one year of Junior Residency in any Government hospital/institute in India.
Age Limit:
UR: Up to 30 years
OBC (Delhi only): Up to 33 years with valid non-creamy layer OBC certificate of current financial year (2025-26) issued by Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
Remuneration: Level 10 of Pay Matrix (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500) + admissible allowances.

Reporting Time: 09:30 AM (Latecomers after 11:00 AM will not be allowed)
Venue: 5th Floor, Seminar Room, Admin Block, Indira Gandhi Hospital, Dwarka

Two passport-size photographs
Original documents for verification

Outside Delhi OBC candidates will be treated as UR.
