📍 Overview

ICAR-National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources is conducting a walk-in-interview for the post of Project Scientist-Il and Project Scientist-I in the Department of Biotechnology funded network projects on wheat sub-project Germplasm Genomics for trait discovery. The project aims to discover traits in wheat using genomics approaches and integrate them for improving climate resilience, productivity, and nutritional quality.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Conduct research in genomics and trait discovery
Analyze large-scale SNP genotyping and re-sequencing data
Construct de novo genome assemblies
Publish research papers in high-impact journals
Collaborate with other researchers and institutions

🎓 Qualifications

Doctoral Degree in Bioinformatics/Molecular Biology/ Life Sciences or Master's Degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/Life Sciences
Three years' relevant experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services
