🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have a qualification in Medical or Non-Medical research streams with relevant experience in analyzing research data related to public health or epidemiology.
Minimum Qualifications Requirement
Qualification Required Research Data Analysis Experience
MBBS / BDS Minimum 3 years after obtaining degree
MD in Community Medicine Considered equivalent to 3 years experience (no additional mentioned)
MPH / M.Sc. Biostatistics Minimum 3 years after completing postgraduate degree
Ph.D. in Biostatistics or equivalent Minimum 3 years (Ph.D. counted as 4 years experience regardless of duration)
📌 Experience will be counted only after acquiring the minimum essential qualification.
⭐ Additional Desirable Qualifications
Candidates with the following expertise will be preferred:
Minimum 5 peer-reviewed scientific publications
Proficiency in data analysis software such as:
SPSS
R Studio
STATA
Python Statistical Libraries
Experience in multi-centric research, epidemiology, or public health surveillance
🧭 Key Roles & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will contribute to high-priority epidemiological surveillance at a national level. Responsibilities include:
Conducting epidemiological assessments
Data analysis and interpretation
Preparing analytic dashboards, summaries, and progress reports
Coordination and scientific communication with national and state health teams
Supporting capacity building and mentoring junior researchers
Performing additional duties assigned by the project leads
