Full role details — East Coast Railway
East Coast Railway is inviting eligible candidates for a Part-Time Dental Surgeon (PTDS) position on a contract basis for one year at the Divisional Railway Hospital, Khurda Road. The engagement will be for 4 hours daily and 6 days a week, renewable on a yearly basis subject to performance, administrative needs, and candidate willingness. The role involves providing outpatient dental care to railway beneficiaries and maintaining high standards of clinical service.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Minimum BDS with 3 years clinical experience or MDS (Compulsory rotatory internship included).
Must be registered with DCI/State Dental Council.
Experience:
Preference for candidates with experience in Government or reputed private hospitals.

General Candidates: Not exceeding 53 years.

Retired Doctors: Up to 65 years (with valid PPO and Service Certificate).
Remuneration & Deductions:
Monthly remuneration: ₹36,900/-
Deductions for absence: ₹1,230/day
For retired doctors, pension + remuneration should not exceed last pay drawn.
Railway accommodation, if availed, will incur standard license fee deductions.
